Insurance and Payment FAQ
At Arcare, our mission is "Health for all." This means we provide medical services to everyone, no matter your ability to pay. If you have questions, check out our FAQ guide to see if we've answered them here.
We accept all insurance plans, including ARKids, Medicaid, Medicare, KCHIP, MississippiCAN, and CoverKids. If you have any questions about your coverage, feel free to give us a call.
Co-payments, co-insurance, and/or deductibles are due when you come in for your appointment. If you owe any additional fees for our services, we will bill you for them after submitting claims to your insurance company or to Medicare, Medicaid, ARKids, KCHIP, MississippiCAN, or CoverKids.
Although Arcare is not a free clinic, we make sure no patient is turned away. We offer sliding scale fees for patients who need affordable healthcare services. The sliding scale fees are based on your income.
Our Sliding Scale Fee Program helps make medical and dental services more affordable. Discounts are based on your household size and income, following Federal Poverty Guidelines. If your income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, you may qualify.
To apply, provide the number of people in your household and proof of income. Depending on your income, your cost could range from $30 per visit to the full price. Participants also receive one free annual preventative visit. Click here to view our Sliding Fee Chart.
For more information or to apply, talk to a receptionist or ask for a case manager. No one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
Arcare, in partnership with Pruitt Agency, has insurance advisors who can help you set up insurance and enroll in Medicare and Medicaid. They can guide you through the enrollment process, explain the benefits of each plan, and provide information on additional resources like Social Security, Medicare Advantage Plans, low-income subsidies, and Medicare Part D. Our team is here to help you understand your coverage and access the services you need. Give us a call at 501-492-6258 for assistance.
