ARcare AIDS Education Training Center (AETC)

The primary goal of the AETC is to improve the treatment, management, diagnosis, and counseling for individuals with HIV/AIDS

ARcare serves as the Local AETC Provider for Arkansas under the direction of the South-Central AIDS Education Training Center (AETC) Program.  The SCAETC comprises five states: Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The ARcare AETC provides HIV care training for healthcare professionals in Arkansas including physicians, physician assistants, advance nurse practitioners, registered nurses, dental professionals, and pharmacists.

We provide a variety of learning opportunities including:

  • Educational Programs (Lectures, Workshops)
  • Clinical Preceptorships on site
  • Clinical Consultations by phone
  • Technical Assistance for program development
